Striped Beige Blazer: A Look For The Office

This is the outfit I wore to the office today. I bought the black and beige striped blazer a few months ago but the weather has been unpredictable so I have never had the chance to wear it! Today was forecast to be dry so I thought I would take my chance.

The blazer is by Principles at Debenhams. I styled it with a fawn coloured sleeveless blouse top from Dorothy Perkins, skinny black trousers from GAP (previously worn in this post) and leopard print flat ballet pumps from Primark.

I accessoried with my pewter Fiorelli Garland handbag (previously featured here), gold and black beaded bracelets I was given as a gift and a chunky gold necklace from Topshop.

I love the way the colours of the blouse, blazer and bag complement one another. However to stop the look being too matchy-matchy, I chose leopard print pumps which add an extra dimension.

What do you think of this look for the office?

Sunday Sale Shopping!

I went for wander around the shops yesterday and I was delighted to see that there were a few good sales on at the moment! I did well at Oasis and GAP where I picked up some pretty tops:

Top row (L-R): Mint Butterfly Shortsleeve Knit (Oasis); Anchor Shortsleeve Knit (Oasis); Gold Fine Tee (Oasis).
Bottom Row (L-R): Navy Stripe V-neck Knit (GAP); Leopard Cardigan (GAP); Coloured Camis (GAP).

The Oasis Mint Knit is lovely for warmer weather and the colour is beautiful. It is covered in little silver butterflies which adds a lovely feminine twist. The Oasis Anchor Knit and GAP Stripe Knit make me want to go sailing in the sunshine (anyone holding a yacht party soon!? Invites addressed to Entirely Ezmirelda please!). There is a very subtle leopard design on the Oasis Gold Tee which adds a little extra something (you can make this out more clearly on the product page – the link below the photo). The leopard cardi is so versatile and can be dressed up or down. And finally some cute pastel toned lace camisoles for layering. Can’t wait to style my new goodies!

Have you picked up anything nice in the sales recently? Let me know – I love a bargain!

Spring Looks

These are my March purchases. I am really starting to look forward to Spring and the warmer temperatures that (hopefully) come with it and this made me want to update my wardrobe!

The coral sleeveless top is bright and fits in with the orange trend which is around at the moment. I am really into prints and I couldn’t resist the navy sqirrell top – just too cute! The floral midi skirt and bird print top are just perfect for Spring. The nautical stripe midi dress will be easy to dress up and down and is really easy to wear! I love layering loose knits over vest tops and this grey knit is perfect for doing so. For those slightly chiller spring days I also purchased a cosier beige knit from warehouse. There is a  little surprise to the back this jumper – have a look at the links below to find out more!

I will style these items and add some outfit posts soon…watch this space!

What do you think of these items? Would you wear any of these? If so how would you style them? Let me know in the comments below!
